We have started a new drilling organisation in the lower Hunter however we will go anywhere. Our first rig is a Hanjin DB8 track mounted and has its own support truck. Our back up vehicle is a Canter 4x4 carrying all down hole gear and a water tank and a fuel bin. 

This unit has a Hi-Ab crane attached for heavy lifting purposes. 

 

The rigs capabilities in rotary drilling wet or dry (air) circulation is 200 metres and in coring NMLC or NQ 400 metres. The rig is equipped with a 100mm down the hole hammer and a cyclone for chip collecting. We also offer BQ drilling capacity to 550 meters. 

 

The Hanjin has a long- range fuel tank on it and as such we do not fuel up on site. We have all the necessary down hole gear from casing advancers, conventional and wire line coring equipment HMLC, NMLC, PQ, HQ, NQ. Auto SPT, U/50, U/75 with an extension tube to obtain an uninterrupted sample from the grass roots. 

 

We are highly experienced in large diameter coring (12C) as well as large diameter percussion (DTH), Scintex system and wire line hollow flight augers.

Another facet of our expertise is we have extensive experience in the coring and recovery of soft and friable strata. We drill and complete water monitoring bores for environmental purposes as well as instrument placement in drill holes. We have extensive knowledge in grouting of formations to inhibit bleeding, (curtain drilling and grouting dams) as well as carrying out packer tests. Another string to our bow is we have over water experience and overseas drilling experience in conjunction our environmental, geotechnical and mineral exploration. 

 

We have a lot of experience in the drilling of contaminated sites, quarries, and was one of the drilling contractors on the Alice Springs to Darwin rail line as well as the ballast drilling.
